Las Vegas and Utah Trip

We made another epic roadtrip, this time to Las Vegas, stopping in Bakersfield to see family, then St. George, and then South Jordan.

Felix drew a clown guy. (This lap tray is the best for roadtrips. It has pockets for his stuff, and it buckles around his carseat so it doesn't slide off. Genius!)

We stopped in Bakersfield for lunch with Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa B and my aunt and uncle.

Trying to frame everyone in the picture, haha.

We drove to Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa R's house in St. George and spent the night, then got up really early to drive BACK to Las Vegas to meet Brandon and Olivia for the day.

First stop, bowling! Ivy wasn't too happy being in her carseat so long, haha. She cheered up really quickly though.

Whoops! Butterfinger Axel!

Gotta have Great-Grandpa's hat!

Selfie to prove I was there too.

Then Jeff and the boys, Alex, Kaden, Brandon, Olivia, Gary, and Rhonda went to the BYU vs. Notre Dame game at the Raider's stadium. They had so much fun!

I drove back with Ivy and the R's. Ivy thought Great-Grandma R was really funny!

It was a very late night for the boys, and they were so tired the next morning! Good thing church wasn't until 2 pm!

Ivy had an awful cold so she (and Jeff and I) wasn't sleeping much either.

It was Great-Grandma R's birthday, so we had a family party.

Hanging with St. George cousins.

Wearing some of their Halloween outfits. I made both of the boys' shirts in years past.

Playing "Skyjo"

Felix can write the letters of his name! No one helped him at all!

More amazing creations.

Rhonda and I took the kids on a hike at Silverlake.

I made these bat leggings.

The whole crew went to the Hogle Zoo.

The kids match the sizes for adult female, juvenile, and infant gorillas!

I made all the bat clothing. We are ready for Halloween!

Ivy getting ready to terrorize Scout, haha. They had a love-hate relationship this trip, since she is more mobile. He wants to lick her face (ew) and she wants to gouge out his eyes or pull his fur.

Ivy with GG. Lots of extended C family came over to see us one night.

Playing games.

Ivy woke up upset from from her nap, and I soon discovered it was because she had laid on her binky and it had suctioned to her face!

We went to a local pumpkin patch to get pumpkins for Nana's porch.

And carved them.

Then we met up with Aunt Alicia and the cousins at Thanksgiving Point to see the scarecrow competition.

It is so beautiful there!

Abram and Felix are the cutest cousins! They held hands everywhere.

They had a bouncy house and some games to play at the amphitheater of the Gardens.

Cousin Picture 2022

Ivy looking festive.

We went to play at the M cousins' house.

Adeline was so good with Ivy.

Peter LOVES Ivy.

Adeline's LEGO creation.

Feeding Jack the rabbit

We went to the local park to play bocce ball and lacrosse with the C's.

GG came over a lot during our visit. The kids love hanging out with her.

Felix watching Papa cook breakfast.

Then it was time to come home! We stopped at a park in Nevada to let off some energy. Ivy sat in a swing for the first time, and loved it!

And she also sat in a high chair for the first time when we stopped for Grimaldi's for lunch.

That is one tired kid after travelling all day.
