Jeff's Phone Dump

I am terrible at remembering to upload pictures and videos from Jeff's phone. So here are some from February and on.

A snowy walk by the Bronx River.

Jeff took this picture while walking to the train station on the Bronx River trail. We sure live in a beautiful area!

Here is the picture Luke took of Bill Nye the Science Guy at the USS Intrepid.

He was so excited that Daddy let him sit in the front seat while Daddy worked on the headlights. (Good thing I didn't know because that is just asking for Axel to accidentally take the emergency brake off and the car to run over Jeff... Did you ever notice that I think of the worst-case scenario all the time?)

Searching for his Easter basket.

Easter Egg hunt!

He is really into jokes right now, and really bad at telling them. This on is an "Axel original" (ie he made it up himself)

Can you tell that Jeff and I had just been telling him "What do you call a boy with no arms and no legs..." jokes?

Batman!

This short video from the Call's visit was cute!

Throwing sticks in the river, as you do.

A couple weekends ago I had a church meeting down in the city, so Axel and Jeff had a father-son crazy night out. Bowling, Five Guys, and a new lego set! A perfect night!

And Axel beat Jeff. Haha!

Candid Family Life by Luke

When Luke was visiting, he took a gajillion candid pictures of us. Here are my favorites. (Also he used a fish-eye lens in many of them)

Thanks Luke for the fun pictures!

Mother's Day 2016

I had a nice Mother's Day weekend. We hung out as a family on Saturday, then Jeff and I went on a date. I got a bunch of cute new clothes, and we had sushi. Sunday morning I got to sleep in and not have any church responsibilities! I was able to attend Sunday School AND Relief Society! That never happens! We talked to all our mommies, Jeff and Axel made dinner, and just had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend. Thank you Jeff and Axel for being so awesome!

They got me azaleas and hydrangeas. So beautiful! They will look awesome in our backyard! And Axel wrote the letters on the card, and drew the arms of the monster.

Out of the mouth of babes... (and the drawing is of my head and hair with one arm)

Ask for more kisses and this is what I got.

Nana and Papa and Uncles visit

Nana, Papa, and "the Uncles" (as Axel calls them) came for a short weekend visit.

Axel entertaining everyone at lunch.

We went for a walk to see some geese, turtles, and even an otter! Alex giving Axel a ride.

Then Brandon.

Goofball boys. Passing on classic poses to the next generation.

Axel cuddling with Brandon and sleeping Papa.

We went to the Met.

Brothers!

And ate Shake Shack, of course!

Thanks for a fun visit, you guys! Axel was sick to his stomach the last day so I don't have any pictures for the last part of their visit. Poor guy!

April Things

For General Conference, Axel and I built a "tent" so he could watch like the people who listened to King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon.

Haircut! Such a big boy! The mushroom hair was driving me crazy.

Free day at the Botanical Gardens. He accessorized himself. (That is my beanie)

Cute friends! At the Cherry Blossom area of the Botanical Gardens.

Helping mommy make blueberry muffins.

"Bunny with holes."

"Cat with two legs"

He wanted to know how to spell conditioner. Pretty good penmanship for a three year old!

We went to the farm with some friends. New York friends are the best!

We are going to miss these two kiddos! They moved!

Axel and his friend on their last day of gymnastics together (because the friend moved!)

These are some older pictures that I forgot to put up:

Raining day, cute boy.

The train conductor made a ticket into the shape of a person, and gave it to Axel! Now he thinks that is the norm and asks all the conductors for it.

Cold day walk on the trail.

Date night!
