February Break in California

The boys and I got the go-ahead from the doctor to travel (not contagious anymore), and the boys were really good for the flight! It was hard for me physically because the flu really wiped me out. And of course the gate was soooooo far away. But we made it.

Felix slept a lot of the flight.

Nina was so sweet to the boys.

This old calculator got a lot of use by Axel while we were there!

Gramma and her boys.

Felix explored the bottom of Brennen's chair.

This stuffed whale shark was a big hit.

Picking oranges for OJ!

Enjoying the sunshine.

So many oranges!

I tried to take a rest in my parent's bed, but Nina had other plans.

Quite possibly my favorite picture of Felix.

Axel loves to play with "Gramma's special toys."

So happy to wake up!

Gramma brought out some pictures from our big Make-A-Wish trip to DC when I was 5.

Brennen age 7.

This remains the only time I have ever held a gun.

Vice President Dan Quayle's desk.

Press conference podium at the White House!

At the Air and Space Museum.

After we had been there for a few days, the cousins came!

Felix and Abram's first meeting!

So much fun with the stationary bike.

Gramma with her two youngest grandsons.

Cutie pants Abram.

Axel reading to Everett.

These kids love getting read too. Luckily they had many adults to indulge them.

Matching jammies! (Peter, Everett, Abram, Adeline, Felix, and Axel)

Monkeys jumping on the bed!

Felix and Abram are roughly the same size (Abram's knees are bent in this picture).

We got to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium!

The penguins were stinky!

Gramma and Brennen came up a little later and picked up Jeff from the airport! So great to have him there for a few days!

Trying to find the otters.

Cute cousins.

Pretending to be birds.

I caught this moment of Brennen and my Dad.

Hanging out with the B great grandparents.

Jeff trying to get a smile out of Abram.

Adeline was dying for me to paint her nails, so we dug some polish out of Aerin's supplies.

Dogpile on Jeff!

Videos of the kiddos playing.

I might be biased, but he is the cutest!

 Out to lunch!

Proud grandparents!

Playing baseball with Jeff.

Cutie patooties!

Heading home!
