February 2023

February was a germ-filled month. We all had the stomach flu but very spread out, with each person's lasting several days. It was the pits. But we did find a few moments to have fun.

Certainly the cutest in the galaxy.

Handsome in his TKD uniform.

Pretending to be Storm Troopers on patrol.

Popcorn Popping with Daddy.

She wanted to hold her bow so badly that she forgot she doesn't know how to stand without assistance!

A little chilly while crashing Mommy and Daddy's date night. She went on a nursing strike for 3 days, it was awful. She wouldn't eat anything except a tiny bit of pumped breastmilk using a medicine dropper. So we opted to bring her with us on our Valentine's date instead of risking her screaming for hours with the babysitter.

Gramma came for a visit.

Valentine's Day heart-shaped pizzas.

Felix started t-ball practice and he loves it!

I was officially called as the organist for Sacrament Meeting, so I've had to sneak practices in. Luckily she slept through this particular practice.

Such a good stander! She loves looking outside.

Hugging the couch?

How the...???

Visited my parents and brother for Grampa's birthday.

Helping pick some oranges off their tree.

I took the kids on a hike in the hills. It was so fun! Cows roam freely through the area.

The extreme rain we've been having did quite a bit of damage to the area.

Ivy figure out how to stand in her crib, and subsequently throw her binkies out.

She is so proud of herself!

She kept a clip in her hair for about a minute, but looked so cute!

Snow on our mountain! So crazy!

Crazy hair day at school.

It washed out of his hair easily, but dyed his scalp for over a week!

February sewing projects:

Sloane sweater for me in oatmeal french terry. So comfy!

Matching fox shirts for my twin niece and nephew.

Action shot. Those two are hard to take pictures of! Always on the move!

January 2023

Ivy reached her New Year's resolution by January 1st! It was to unroll the toilet paper in Mommy's bathroom, haha!

Ivy started pulling up to stand.

And babbling a lot.

Such a big girl!

Walking with Daddy.

Pulling up to stand to watch Felix take a bath.

Laundry is super exciting.

Felix using his new towel.

Sunday best.

Felix did a great job copying the letters to "Thank you."

Felix insisted on drawing the people he was writing thank you cards to. They turned out so great!

After watching Axel and his friend make stop motion LEGO movies, he decided to make his own LEGO scenes using tape.

We met Gramma and Grampa and Brennen for dinner.

Belt tests.

Axel getting his green belt.

Felix got yellow with a white stripe.

Ivy loves playing with her brothers.

For Axel's belated birthday party, we rented out a movie theater to see Puss and Boots, and invited a bunch of friends. It was crazy but everyone had a great time!

Helping Daddy play Skyjo.

We got Twister for Christmas! Its a big hit with the boys.

Bed head.

All bundled up at the grocery store.

Playing Warhammer.

Trying out a sippy cup.

Ivy helping Daddy.

Pic by Felix.

Swings are so fun!

Those crazy boys.

Felix cut his own hair... Luckily it has been easy to cover up.

Sooooo tired.

January sewing:

Valentine's Day shirt for me.

Valentine's outfit for Ivy.

Shirt for Felix (it glows in the dark!)

Robot shirt for Felix.
