February 2021

We got some snow in February.

Such a cutie pants.

Axel drew this great picture of a baseball player, using a YouTube tutorial.

Axel with his teacher Mrs. Groves for their Valentine's Day Party.

Jeff and I with our loot for Valentine's Day.

We drove to California to look at houses again, but no luck.

Felix playing Gramma's piano.

Aerin and Axel looking for Waldo.

Playing stomp rockets outside with the neighborhood kids.

Trampoline hair!

Playing catch with Gramma.

Felix was so tired one day, he fell asleep at dinner (around 6pm) and did not wake up until morning.

After I scolded Felix, he took comfort from Uncle Brenny.

Longest walk ever. Felix insisted on carrying this DVD after we picked it up from a friend's house, but then walked so slow!

Then laid on somebody's lawn for forever. Ah, two year olds.

On another walk, he thought the hill was too steep and crawled up it instead.

January 2021

On January 1st we hiked in the snow up Millcreek Canyon.

Trying to get Scout to pull Axel down the hill.

Felix loved sliding down the hill!

The next day was Axel's baptism day! The Primary president brought over this towel for him.

Covid-style baptism! We had to wear masks throughout (except Axel when he was going under the water). We used YouTube Live to stream the baptism for all our extended family and friends, since only those who live in our house, plus a member of the bishopric, could attend. As usual, technology gave us problems. But otherwise it was a lovely baptism!

Axel and I recorded this song so be the musical number for the baptism, but it didn't work when live-streaming. So we sent it out afterwards to all those who tuned in.

Axel lost his first tooth!

Then had 3 more teeth pulled a few days later. Two of his adult teeth were blocked from coming in and were starting to angle backwards, so all those baby teeth that were in the way had to be pulled. He handled it like a champ!

Sk8r boy

Physical Therapy loaned us this special bike for a month, so Felix and I were out every day (that it didn't snow) to work on his leg and arm strength! (I guess it worked a little too well because we found out on February 1st that he no longer qualified for PT or Speech in Utah because he has caught up a lot to his age group)

Felix's luscious locks before I gave him a big boy haircut.

I think the end result turned out cute too!

Always gangster.

Found Felix hiding here one day.

We made this video for Grampa's 60th birthday!
