Rest of October 2022

Ivy looking adorable.

Spent an afternoon outside on a lovely day.

Felix is always in the dirt. And can you spy the tennis ball about to hit me in the head?

The tennis ball culprit.

We celebrated Daddy's birthday.

The boys got Daddy BYU shirts for themselves, so they could all match going to the BYU game in Las Vegas.

I found this amazing card for the boys to give to Daddy.

Their notes inside are hilarious.

Ivy can get up onto her knees easily!

Oh man, this was the grocery trip from heck. First, Felix spilled his yogurt all over the parking lot (and I cleaned it up, I couldn't stand to leave a mess!)

And then when I got home, I realized a BUNCH of the milk had leaked all over the car!

Thank heavens we have a shopvac!

We had fun setting up our porch for Halloween.

The boys helped make a candy monster for our door.

Ivy is working on sitting up.

Felix wanted me to take his picture too.

And then he wanted to take a picture of me.

Shirt I sewed for my niece's birthday. My first time doing a rounded hem (however slight) and I think it turned out well!

Halloween clothes I sewed for the kids.

I had enough leftover fabric to make myself a bat shirt too.

Ivy's first time trying food! Its avocado mixed with breastmilk. We were babysitting some friends, so they helped out too.

Felix had a preschool field trip to a local pumpkin patch.

We loved the live music.

Uncooperative Felix. Love the paper throw though.

Ivy thought Axel was so funny!

We went as a family to a different pumpkin patch, and they had a melon cannon.

We love riding the tractors.

Overlooking the corn maze.

I love it when they work together!

Felix's poomsae.

What a doll!

Aunt Julie came for a visit.

We met my family for dinner one night, halfway between our houses.

Ivy is so close to crawling!

Axel got to participate in a school assembly.

Picture Axel drew this comic for his pen pal.

Axel's Halloween parade at school

Two monks (or cult members, take your pick), a skeleton, a shy police officer, and the Mandalorian.

Axel's pumpkin carving entry for the school party. He drew it and I carved it.

Felix's preschool Halloween parade. Felix loved dancing!

Carving our pumpkins.

Felix's idea for his pumpkin.

I think we nailed it! He added the hat so it could be a pilot pumpkin.

Our sweet Trunk-or-Treat setup.

Cutest skeleton in the world!

Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood was so great! A lot of people were out on their porches to hand out candy. I've never said "Happy Halloween" so many times in my life!

After we trick-or-treated, we stayed on our porch for a bit to hand out candy. Ivy was soooo tired.

This is from a neighbor's security camera. I thought it was so funny! (We are not in the video)
