November Happenings

Axel and Jeff went to breakfast together one morning.

The first trailer for "Spies in Disguise" came out, and the whole second half was from storyboards Jeff did! And he also wrote some of the dialogue used!

Sometimes after he eats, Felix likes to lay upside down.

Reading books with Daddy.

This kid loves baths so much!

A couple of cooing videos

I switched the laundry and came back to him asleep!

Got his ball stuck on his ear.

Axel is such a good big brother.

Trying out Daddy's new Cintiq.

COLD day for soccer!

Gramma came to visit!

Photo cred: Axel

Pokemon cards are a hot topic at our house right now.

Switched him to a wearable blanket! He likes it!

Loves his Grammy!

We've got a thumb sucker.

Haha, those cheeks!

The beginning of "Snowvember" (November 15th, craziest snow day!). We ended up with 4 inches of heavy snow that was very slick. Jeff was out of town so I had to do all the shoveling (with Axel's help haha). But I was glad Jeff didn't have to drive home in it because it took his coworkers HOURS to get home. Someone we know took 7 hours to drive from Valhalla into Manhattan. It was insane.

Throwing snowballs at Gramma!

Snow angels on the driveway!

Trying to eat his brother's face.

Nap time!

Saying good-bye to Gramma before Axel went to school!

We enjoyed having Gramma here!

Spot the Jeff. He was out of town for the weekend. The boys and I survived.

Cute laugh!

Cool guys that Axel made.

Axel got invited to a birthday party, and we had so much fun! I love the t-rex with the volcano!

Trying to roll over while tangled in his rings. He did an impressive job of turning to see the TV better!

He found out that his hand is super interesting.

Axel singing while eating Halloween candy.

Thumb sucker strikes again!

Hmmm, that's not where I put you!

Such intense eyes.

So close to rolling!

He finally rolled over while no one was watching. I took this picture when I discovered him. He looks as surprised as I was! He hasn't done it since (as of December 1st as I am writing).

Our Thanksgiving turkey was 15 pounds, haha!

Axel's Santa letter. The pen smeared, but the top says "I helped give Felix his binky"

Haha, I love how he drew shrimp pasta!

Grandma J came to visit!

Bus pick-up candid shot by Grandma J

Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our turkey was so good! I used lemon zest in the butter rub.

Post-dinner shenanigans.

Jamming on the ukulele.

 Axel reading to Felix!

That hair!

We got a new tree this year! Axel got to put the first ornament on.

Fluffing the branches.

His hand got so much bigger in a year!

We added an eskimo nativity this year from Jeff's grandma J.

The new MST3K season is up on Netflix. "Mac and Me" was hilarious! Go watch it!

Felix turned 5 months old!

Got his foot stuck.

I had parent-teacher conference, and saw this gem. I asked his teacher for clarification and she said they have little bears they use for counting and patterns. Somehow he turned that into him riding a bear with a flaming hand. Everyone else drew blocks or playing at recess, etc. But not my son!

His handwriting looks so good!

This amazing drawing was for his homework. The assignment was to draw a picture of something that starts with an "n." So this is supposed to be someone wagging their finger "No." So great, haha!

We've been passing around a virus, and Felix finally caught it. Poor guy! The doctor said he just has to ride it out.

We've had a good November, lots of visits with family. We are excited for a fun December!
