California Summer Trip

The blurry picture I sent Jeff to let him know we were on the plane!

Nap time once we got in Grampa's car.

5am breakfast, anyone? Three hour time change is rough.

Playing Legos with Grampa.

Playing with all the water wings we blew up for the kids to use in the pool.

Gramma and Felix

The cousins came the next day!

Aerin reading the kids "The Little Red Riding Hood" in French.

Reading with Uncle Dallin.

So.... Unfortunately Dallin's family had the stomach flu so I quarantined us in our room until they left for a hotel and my parents sanitized the house. So we had to spend a day without the cousins.

Axel playing Legos in the crib so that Felix couldn't get to them.

Felix playing peekaboo with the closet door.

That's one way to get down the steps!

Felix figured out how to crawl with his belly off the ground!

Bowl hat!

Gramma bought the boys new shoes. Thanks Gramma!

The cousins came back and we got to play some more! (which of course got my kids sick later... but that is life)

Grandma M and Julie came to visit!

I got to go see my mom in a play at church. She was Prince Joan in "Robyn Hood and her Merry Maids."

Playing outside on a beautiful day.

Gramma got the kids shirts. Between the 2 pictures below, you can see all the kid's faces.

Silly/crying faces.

The kids got to see Gramma's play too! They got to stay up late, and loved it!

We took nice pictures after church. I'll post the rest after I get the files.

Proximity playing.

Candy poker!

Playing cards with Grandma B.

Playing Balderdash after the kids went to bed. Always a fun game!

Last squeezes before we left!

Getting home was the worst flight of my life, as Axel started puking as soon as we got through security. But we somehow made it all the way home. Then Felix was sick all night. Then Jeff and I got it two days later. All in all, only three people in the WHOLE group did NOT get sick, plus Jeff who wasn't there but got it anyway. Ah, family reunions. Sigh. We are so grateful for everyone who came out to see us (Julie and Grandma M, Grandma and Grandpa B, and Dallin and family), and to my parents for hosting!
