Christmas in Utah

We had the opportunity to spend Christmas in Utah. We were sooooooo tired by time we got off the airplane! Look at Felix's mile-long stare!

Hanging with GG.

We made yummy sugar cookies.

Axel requested green and orange frosting. Not exactly Christmas colors, but oh well!

Excited for Santa to come!

Traditional "Christmas morning picture on the stairs."

When your stocking is as big as you...

Santa brought Axel a new dinosaur fingerling.

Axel showed everyone some yoga moves he learned at school.

That new luggage came in handy for hauling all the presents back to New York!

Looking at Pokemon cards with Kaden.

It was a lovely Christmas morning!

We went to Jenny and Gary's house for Christmas dinner with the R side of the family.

Felix and Alex.

Yummy food!

The "adult" table (Jeff, me, Grandpa R, Grandma R, Harrison, Papa, Nana, Anjie, and Nick)

Axel had so many boy cousins to play with!

Ranae loved holding Felix.

The day after Christmas, Axel got to go skiing for the first time!

Some videos of his awesome skills.

After Axel's lesson, everyone went down the bunny hill together. Axel struggled without the tether holding his skis together, but still did amazing!

Nana, Daddy, Axel, Alex, and Kaden (and Papa took the picture)

Jeff's frozen beard.

Felix turned 6 months old!

While everyone skied, I visited my friend Sarah.

The next day it snowed. Axel helped his uncles clear the driveway.

Nana, Grandma R, and I got pedicures (notice Grandma's 2 left flip-flops!)

We celebrated Axel's birthday a day early. He requested Chili's.

This kid loves his uncles!

6 years old!

Major flub on the birthday song, but it was pretty funny. Honestly this trip is the first time I've noticed a huge problem with Axel and Alex being similar names (including their passports nearly getting jumbled).

Playing with his new remote control bumper cars.

Putting together Papa's lego Seahawks helmet.

Official birthday breakfast: pancakes of course!

We were able to leave the boys with the R's and go to a cousin's wedding at the Salt Lake Temple.

Felix was a big hit at the luncheon and reception.

Felix officially became a roller! He had a huge audience because we were about to leave for the wedding reception.

Such a cutie patootie!

Alex and Felix were buds on this trip.

I was able to go visit my college roommates Kayli and Heather.

These cuties are 2 months apart.

Our kids make quite the crowd!

Next stop, Mexico!
