Axel was in the school's spelling bee. Here he is (in blue) looking very stressed before it began.
He did great, made it through half-way and got out on the same word as lots of other kids ("gastritis"). Ivy was giving him some love, making sure he was ok.
Grandma J was visiting so she got to come to the spelling bee too!

I made some jogger pants for a nephew who can't keep his pants on his skinny bum. They turned out great! I made him an olive green pair later as well.
