May 2025 (+ Disneyland trip)

Ivy dressed herself, socks with sandals and all.

A lunch at panera bread.

I took my mom out for dinner for an early Mother's Day.

Ivy casting spells with a stick.

Luke, Chelsea, and Walter came to visit prior to our Disneyland trip. Here we are playing Kube.

Walter liked playing with our outside toys.

We took them on a tour of Pixar. This is the only picture I took, haha.

Ivy fell asleep on the way to a baseball game and did NOT wake up, so I had to carry her and push the stroller. No easy feat. Chelsea and Walter came to the baseball game too, but Walter just wanted to run around, haha.

Yeah Felix!!!

We took them cherry picking.

Grandma J arrived at our house, and then we packed up her jeep and our van and drove down to Disneyland. We stayed in a cute AirBnB that fit all eleven of us. Natalie flew down and met us there.

Natalie and Margot meeting for the first time.

They were both smitten.

First stop: Rise of the Resistance! We utilized rider switch heavily so that everyone could go on rides, even if they were on baby/toddler duty.

Felix was too excited to stop for a picture.

Smuggler's Run.

Next, Jungle Cruise. It was nice to ride all together.

We switched over to California Adventure partway through the day.

Felix is finally tall enough for Cars!

Jeff and I got "Mike Wazowski"-ed, meaning something is in the way of our faces!

I took the boys on Grizzly Rapids, and then Jeff took them right after. It was sooooo hot, so it was nice to get a bit wet!

Little Mermaid

I think this is Spiderman

Taking silly pictures while taking a break in the shade. The temperature was in the mid-90s!!!!

Rides with Daddy

The next day (an even hotter day) I wanted to make sure the girls saw princesses. While we were waiting in line for the photo ops, Elsa came pretty close by and Ivy was ecstatic!

Meeting Mulan. I was so impressed by all the time and attention the princesses spent on us.

Margot was dressed as Cinderella, so they are comparing outfits. Also Margot could not keep her eyes off Cinderella! She was so happy!

Showing Cinderella her Elsa shirt.

Margot making googoo eyes at Cinderella.

Meeting Ariel.

Mr Toad's Wild Ride.

It was too hot for Margot to wear clothes, so she wore her onesie the rest of the day. I had to buy a spray bottle fan to help keep us cool.

Teacups.

Natalie took the kids on the teacups again.

Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Notice Margot's head, haha. Astro Orbitor.

Autopia, the kids' favorite.

I took the boys on Smugglers Run again.

Pics from Space Mountain. Felix's turn to get "Mike Wazowki"-ed, which he happily pointed out when he saw the picture. Luckily he thought it was hilarious!

Took the littles on Buzz Lightyear a bunch of times while we switched off riding Space Mountain.

Uncle Brennen gifted Axel the lightsaber building experience, so I got to take him to that. Axel was over-the-moon happy and excited!

The only one in the group to choose the Dark Side.

He was too shy to try to get Chewbacca's attention, so we took this covert photo instead.

One last pic before getting the little ones to bed and the older kids staying a little longer!

Early breakfast before Natalie and Luke's family flew back home. If this picture doesn't show motherhood, I don't know what does, haha.

We had a fun time at Disneyland! And we survived the super hot weather! We were able to ride almost everything (though the Matterhorn kept breaking down when the boys were in line).

On our drive back, we stopped at my Grandparent's house to visit.

Mother's Day 2025

The cute things the kids made me.

"Go in timeout." So true.

My favorite Mother's Day gift ever. Useful AND adorable.

Picture of me by Felix

Grandma and Margot.

A chillier baseball game.

Axel's band concert. Grandma had to drive home the next day, but we had a fun visit with her!

Ivy looking patriotic and adorable.

Margot is more reactive now so Ivy will play with her more (note the crown on Margot's head).

My mom's brother John came to visit. They also were able to come to one of Felix's baseball games!

Felix had a large cheering section this game!

And Margot fell asleep on Gramma.

Last baseball game of the year!

Baseball team party.

Gramma made a cross stitch for Ivy!

We went cherry picking again. LOVE cherries.

Getting the garden set up.

Felix wanted me to take a picture of his Duplo creation.

Father and Son's (and one daughter) campout.

Outfit on point.

Happy girl!!!

Pictures from some of Felix's school things:

Field trip to the Zoo.

Felix got to celebrate his birthday in class this year (by picking a random day the month before his birthday)

Ordered some decor for Felix's birthday party, and it came in questionable packaging. So funny!

Superhero Birthday Party! We held it a month early, before school got out, so his friends could all come. It was so fun!

Happy 7th Birthday, Spiderman!
