On Labor Day we went to an A's game, one of the last in the Oakland Coliseum! It was A's vs Met's, so we were a divided family, haha. The A's won in a grandslam in the 9th inning! I was so thrilling!
25 weeks pregnant
The kids let us sleep in one morning, and we came out to them nicely playing a game.
Trying out pigtails on Ivy's hair, and Felix wanted to be in the picture.
Daddy got to go swimming with us!
Ivy started sleeping in the big girl bed.
We had a joint birthday party for the September and October birthdays. Dallin's family got stuck at home because their car would't start, so they didn't get to join us.
Felix was on camera-duty, and he kept snapping pictures, unbeknownst to everyone else (next 2 pictures, haha)
Ivy and Grampa.
Tired after church.
We got to go on an epic family vacation to Universal Studios and Disneyland with Aunt Natalie and Grandma J.
First Day: Universal Studios
"Waterworld" show. My parents and Brennen were at Universal the same day as us, so we got to hang out for part of the day!
Axel got an interactive wand and it made things move in the store windows.
Ivy was not a fan of the velociraptor, and Felix wouldn't even come in the picture!
Unfortunately Jeff was trying to pass a kidney stone and felt absolutely terrible (even puked in the "Moaning Myrtle" Harry Potter bathroom). And around the time he was puking, I got stung by a bee and had to go to first aid. So it was quite the hectic half hour!
Ivy loved dancing to the music while we were waiting in line, or waiting to meet up with our group.
The next day, Jeff luckily felt much better, and we headed to Disneyland!
Ivy slept through Haunted Mansion, probably for the best. She did not like any rides that got dark.
Day 2 at Disneyland (Day 3 of the trip). Jeff and I enjoying a rare moment alone (also I don't look pregnant from the back, haha)
Ivy was so excited to meet Minnie!
We spent one more night, went to church at the local ward, then stopped by my grandparents' on our way home! It was so nice to see them!
Sewing this month:
I have a ton of Halloween fabric, so I made shirts for me and the kids.
I also made a little outfit for a baby cousin.
