Axel is in the "Gifted and Talented" program at his school, and their teacher did a poetry night at the park. I thought that Axel's poems were quite apocalyptic, but it turns out everyone's were. It was the most depressing poetry I have ever heard! Haha! And the park's music was stuck on because whoever knew how to turn it off was not available... But at least it was nice outside!
Also Axel insisted on memorizing his poems and not taking up his papers, so of course he got flustered and forgot the words. But he persisted!
Felix and Axel had a make-up taekwondo class together, and Felix thought it was so fun to be with the big kids!

Jeff took me on a date for my birthday, but the restaurant we went to first had too long of a wait (I needed to get back to nurse Ivy), so we went next door to pizza place. It was fun!
