Ferdinand Premier and Snow Day

Axel sat in the dentist chair all by himself! Well, minus the raccoon, of course.

 Snow day! The snow was perfect for snowballs!

On our way to the Ferdinand premier in NYC. Apparently the drive was tiring.

This kid has never been more excited in his life!

We had a really great time! Axel LOVED it, and Jeff and I enjoyed it. Always nice to see Jeff's name in big letters!

We went to Blue Smoke BBQ after the premier. So good!

It was a late night for this kid. He did so well!

Pregnancy Pictures up to 16 weeks

Here is a bit of our IVF journey, but mostly pictures of my cute growing belly.

Picture of the embryo. Isn't it beautiful? Crazy that we have a picture of our baby outside the womb. This was 5 days after fertilization, moments before they implanted it in my womb.

And BOOM! A baby! Ultrasound at 7 1/2 weeks. The baby is in the right part of the black void. The thing sticking out from it is the yolk sac (which turns into the placenta).

And it looks like an actual baby very quickly! 12 weeks. He/she was super active (just like Axel was). I only make crazy babies, I think!

13 weeks. Look at that excited big brother!

16 weeks. I can feel the baby move now, which is the best!

Thanksgiving Take 2, in New York

Grandma J came out for a short visit, so we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving again!

Grandma J saw the figures I made last year, so she requested a Bumble (the abominable snowman) and that I finish the Hermie (I hated how it looked so I stopped last year). Luckily Hermie looked much better with hair and his hat. I finished them in time for her to take them home to Florida!

Grandma went down into the city with Daddy to look at Christmas lights and sit in on his class.

We are so glad that Grandma is able to come visit us a lot!

Thanksgiving 2017 in Utah

Axel and I flew to Utah for Thanksgiving a bit early while Jeff was at a work convention in LA.

On our flight out of JFK, a worker let us take a peek outside at the engine. Axel was in heaven!

Jeff about 30 minutes after he arrived at the house. He was exhausted! After his convention, he flew to Seattle and met Papa and Brandon to go to the Seahawks game! They had a great time!

We celebrated Axel's birthday early by going to Jungle Jim's. Jeff's cousin's kids came to play too!

 Thanksgiving Day!

Jeff led the boys in a rousing game of Dungeons and Dragons.

Axel's "secret cave." All the toys are down there too. He coughed so bad at night that we finally stuck him in here so that I could get some sleep! He was more than happy to move in!
