April was a big month for us, because we moved from New York to Utah!

We didn’t intend to throw so many things away, but the donation sites were all closed for COVID! We gave away some things to neighbors and people in the ward, then put the rest out for junk day. Luckily by the morning, most things had been taken by people passing by.

The leather couch did not get taken, and I shed a few tears as it got crunched up.

I made masks using materials I already had at home, since stores were closed.

We stayed in a hotel for a couple days after our belongings were trucked away.

Then after a nerve-wracking wait where we were sure we wouldn’t be allowed to leave the state, we headed to Utah!

Also we bought a minivan! It was waiting for us in Utah. Thank you to all the family members that helped drive it to us from St George!

We live by a horse now.

 As you may know, this past year has been crazy (for everyone). I’m finally getting around to post pictures, a year later...

We had a super cold and windy day, and Felix did not appreciate all the layers I had to put him in to go get Axel off the school bus.

Writing letters to missionaries for Activity Days. I haven't asked him why his has a bunch of holes.... Maybe he tried to make a snowflake out of his letter?

We had a nice enough day that we could go to the park, and Felix showed off his stairs skills. He practices in Physical Therapy all the time, but we never get to practice at home because he can't reach our handrails. These handrails are perfect!

Second Half of January

He learned how to shake his head "No." And thinks it's so funny!

Finally figured out how to stand up from the floor.
