While we were in the hospital, Axel got to hang out with his friend Meg for a few days! They got frozen yogurt...
...And went to a painting class.
Soon after we got home from the hospital, Axel read Felix a bunch of books.
Nana took Axel out of the house every day so that he could get some energy out and Jeff and I could concentrate on Felix. Here he is eating his frosty before his lunch.
He got a soccer ball and net and has enjoyed practicing.
Felix did not enjoy his first sponge bath.
But then he was happy!
Comparison of the them at a week old, right after baths. Axel on the left and Felix on the right.
He loves to sleep in his swaddles.
Brother kisses!
Handsome-est sleepy dude.
Nana and Axel went to a Nature Preserve.
More cute brothers
Felix likes to sleep on us.
Cutest face!
At the zipline park with Meg
They also found a McDonalds PlayPlace (we only have a couple within driving distance). They came home FILTHY! But they had so much fun.
I kept saying that I wanted sushi as soon as I gave birth. Didn't get it delivered to the hospital, but did get to have it a few days later.

Axel decorated our front door while we were at the hospital, and I love how he drew baby Felix.
So suave.
A walk on an extremely hot day. Axel enjoyed pushing the stroller.
Helping Nana make his favorite, pancakes!
So much hair!
Felix is a sleepy eater. This was an attempt to wake him up. He smiles about 35 seconds in.
Blue steel?
He doesn't want to stand as much as Axel did (Axel came out of the womb loving to stand).
Trying out one of the front packs. He was not impressed.
But it did wear him out.
Nintendo with Papa before he had to leave for the airport.
Nana and Axel went with Meg's family to the aquarium.
Some sleepy faces.
That swirl of hair!
Sharing secrets.
Monkey jammies!
Gramma got here to help!
He hated his first bath.
Nana made quilts for the boys! Thanks Nana!
Making little noises and going cross-eyed
Playing with the monkey
Gramma brought Pokemon cards, and Axel was over-the-moon!
Cat-nap with Daddy
How I cut Axel's hair. I have to keep the long bits out of the way while I buzz the sides.
Cutest boys!
Fluffy post-bath hair
Gramma multi-tasking
LOVE this picture that Gramma took
Felix's first outing was to Shake Shack. He did pretty well!
Third attempt to get him in the fancy front-pack that I bought. He finally didn't scream and try to arch out of it.
We have had a challenging but great 3 weeks with Felix, and are excited for an eternity more! Maybe he'll stop screaming soon (and I don't mean crying. Screaming. He sounds like a seagull!).
And big thanks to our family and friends who have been able to pitch in and help!
